TribeTonight is currently a pre-incorporation project based in Berlin, Germany. This Privacy Policy is intended to cover the public landing page and waitlist. A separate or expanded privacy notice may apply before selected test users receive access to a private pre-launch prototype.

The landing page currently contains static content created by TribeTonight and a waitlist signup option using Google sign-in.
This Privacy Policy does not yet fully cover the private pre-launch prototype, closed beta, or selected test-user program. Those are addressed in Section 14 as a provisional note.
3. Minimum age
The TribeTonight waitlist is intended only for individuals who are 18 years or older.
By signing up for the waitlist, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from someone under 18, we will delete that data.

We currently do not collect free-text comments, reasons for interest, referral sources, UTM campaign data, marketing attribution data, or manually provided location information through the waitlist form.
We also do not intentionally store your IP address, browser data, or device information in the waitlist database at signup. However, the hosting provider or infrastructure provider may process basic technical access data, such as server logs, where necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably.
5. Google sign-in
The waitlist signup uses Google sign-in.
When you choose to sign up with Google, Google may provide us with limited account information, such as your name, email address, Google account identifier, and profile picture link, depending on the permissions shown to you during the signup process.
Google processes your data independently according to its own privacy terms. TribeTonight only uses the information received from Google for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
We currently store the Google profile picture link to make the waitlist and future user experience more personal. We may remove this data field in the future if it is no longer necessary.

This may include basic technical processing by hosting or infrastructure providers to keep the landing page available, secure, and functional. - To prepare for possible future test-user invitations
Selected waitlist members may be contacted separately about potential participation in a private pre-launch test. Participation would be handled separately and may require additional information and notices.
7. Legal basis for processing
For the waitlist and product updates, we rely on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
For basic technical operation and security of the landing page, we may rely on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in operating a secure and reliable website, where such processing is strictly necessary and proportionate.
8. No analytics and no cookies
At this stage, TribeTonight does not use analytics tools.
We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, tracking, profiling, or personalization on the landing page.
If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, ask for consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies.

TribeTonight is based in Germany and takes a GDPR-first approach to privacy.
Users from outside the EU/EEA may sign up for the waitlist. Where possible, we intend to provide the same core privacy rights to all waitlist users, regardless of location.
We currently intend to host waitlist data in Europe. If future service providers involve transfers of personal data outside the EU/EEA, we will update this Privacy Policy and rely on appropriate safeguards where required, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
13. How long we keep your data
We keep waitlist data for up to 24 months from the date of signup, unless you withdraw consent or request deletion earlier.
If TribeTonight does not launch, we will delete waitlist data.
We may also delete waitlist data earlier if it is no longer needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Consent records may be retained where necessary to demonstrate compliance, but only for as long as reasonably required.
14. Pre-launch prototype and selected test users
TribeTonight may invite selected, vetted users to access a private pre-launch prototype web app.
This will be handled separately and on a one-to-one basis. Before any selected test user receives access, TribeTonight may provide additional privacy information covering the specific prototype experience.
Depending on the prototype features, additional data categories may become relevant, such as account data, preferences, location-related inputs, planning preferences, feedback, or product usage data. These are not part of the current public landing-page waitlist processing unless specifically disclosed later.
No test user will be required to participate without additional information about how their data will be used.

Once your request is processed, we will remove you from the waitlist unless we are legally required or otherwise permitted to retain limited information.
17. Security
We aim to protect personal data using appropriate technical and organizational measures.
These may include HTTPS, access controls, limited internal access, secure hosting infrastructure, and careful selection of service providers.
Because TribeTonight is still in an early stage, security processes and providers may evolve over time. We will update this Privacy Policy if material changes affect how personal data is handled.
18. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as TribeTonight develops, especially if we add new features, providers, analytics, cookies, email tools, beta testing flows, AI features, or partner integrations.
The latest version will be made available on the TribeTonight website. Material changes may be communicated where appropriate.
